Jeff The Killer: Horror Game launched into Early Access on October 31, 2025, and remains there — the developer has explicitly flagged it as an unfinished product. Most recently, on August 20, 2026, the developer published a development update confirming significant work still in progress: a dedicated Photo Mode, a shift toward more realistic visuals, a more linear and story-driven design direction, a detailed object-inspection system inspired by Resident Evil, and improvements to Jeff's AI with new behaviors and abilities. The developer explicitly states "More news is coming," reinforcing that development is ongoing with no conclusion in sight. No 1.0 release date or completion roadmap has been announced.
