Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash launched on February 1, 2024 as a 2v2 fighting game. The developer followed up with a post-launch content cycle running from May through November 2024: the "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" DLC and Free Update #1 shipped on May 30, 2024; Free Update #2 added Noritoshi Kamo on July 25, 2024; Free Update #3 added Kasumi Miwa alongside the "Kyoto Jujutsu High School Girls' Outfits" DLC on September 26, 2024; and the "Shibuya Incident" DLC with Free Update #4 launched on November 21, 2024. All five DLC entries listed on the store are marked as released. After November 2024, developer communications ceased — the only subsequent post was a November 20, 2025 security patch addressing a Unity engine vulnerability, which is routine maintenance unrelated to new content. No further DLC has been announced, no roadmap exists, and no developer statement points to additional releases. The post-launch update window ran at roughly 2-month intervals from May to November 2024, and that cycle has not resumed. The game's content cycle appears complete as of the Shibuya Incident release.

Familiar members such as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo, as well as Cursed Spirits such as Jogo and Hanami, will also participate in the game.
Each character has his or her own unique Cursed Technique and actions.
