TOUHOU SKY ARENA MATSURI CLIMAX released on September 2, 2020. The only DLC, a battle soundtrack pack, also launched on the same day as the base game. Following launch, the developer posted two communications in early September 2020 — one addressing keyboard customization and translation errors on September 4, and a follow-up patch note on September 8 confirming those fixes. No further developer communications have occurred after September 8, 2020, and no new content, expansions, or roadmaps have ever been announced. The game launched as a complete product with all content available from day one, and the developer has not indicated any plans for future additions.
