Evaluation

Just Go launched on August 9, 2022 and received a steady stream of feature patches through its first year. The developer shipped updates roughly every few weeks following launch, adding new features, platform support, languages, and gameplay improvements. The three milestones worth noting are: the initial launch (August 2022), a meaningful feature patch in May 2023 adding a Free Play mode, and the final recorded update on August 13, 2023 (version 1.2.0), which brought macOS support and a real-time analysis feature. That August 2023 patch is the last developer communication on record. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no roadmap or developer statement promising additional updates. In December 2022, the developer mentioned a new separate game ("Just Xiangqi") in a patch note, suggesting the studio had moved attention to other projects. The update pattern — frequent early on, then tapering off — is consistent with a game that received active post-launch polish and then reached a stable, complete state. No posts since August 13, 2023 have appeared, and given the historical cadence (updates were roughly monthly in the first year, then slowed), the silence since that date — now nearly three years — well exceeds any reasonable expectation of further updates. Just Go appears to be a complete, finished product with no further content planned.
Evidence
Patch 1.2.0 adds macOS support (Intel and M1/M2), Turkish language, smarter AI, and real-time analysis. This is the last developer communication on record.
