Kemopop!

Kemopop! launched out of Early Access on March 8, 2025 and has continued receiving regular updates since then. The first paid expansion, Boys in Hawaii!, launched on October 10, 2025, adding new characters, stages, and features. Seasonal content updates followed — a Christmas event (Merikuri!) on December 24, 2025 and a Lunar New Year event (Lunar Festival!) on February 13, 2026. On January 29, 2026, the developer published a formal 2026 roadmap explicitly announcing that a second DLC expansion had entered development, targeting a release later in 2026. The developer described it as more ambitious than Boys in Hawaii!, featuring more engaged storyline content and side activities. Most recently, on August 19, 2026, the developer released patch 2.3.0 — a substantial technical update described as "refining the game ahead of DLC 2." The patch notes directly confirm that "DLC 2 is under active development." The same post also announces additional planned content: Kemopop! Soundtrack Volume II (covering tracks from Boys in Hawaii! and DLC 2), and plans to bring itch.io Art Packs to Steam as optional DLC. Both currently available DLC — Boys in Hawaii! (released October 10, 2025) and the original Soundtrack (released October 1, 2024) — are fully released. The second expansion and its associated soundtrack have not yet been listed on the store, but the developer has clearly and explicitly committed to them through multiple public communications as recently as today.
