Evaluation
KIDS is a short interactive animation described explicitly as having a play time of 15–30 minutes. The store description frames it as a complete artistic experience — "a short interactive animation" — with no mention of future content, expansions, or ongoing development. The developer has issued two maintenance updates since launch (version 1.1.0 on April 13, 2022, and version 1.2.0 on August 9, 2025), both consisting solely of bug fixes and performance improvements. Neither post announces new content or hints at future additions. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, and no developer statements about planned content. The game launched on May 28, 2019 as a finished product and has remained so.
