Kill Pill launched on January 14, 2023 as a free-to-play arena shooter. In the first two weeks after launch, the developer was active: a small visual and audio update shipped on January 18, 2023, followed by a major update on January 28, 2023 that added arcade mode, three new pill types, two new powerups, achievements, and quality-of-life features. In the January 18 post, the developer explicitly stated that "future updates with more pills, modes, and powerups are planned."
However, the last developer communication of any kind was on January 28, 2023. No further updates, announcements, or posts have appeared since then — a silence spanning more than three years (through June 2026). The promised additional content has never arrived, and the developer has not provided any update on its status. Given that the developer publicly committed to more content but has gone silent for this length of time without delivering on those plans, it is unclear whether further development is still ongoing.

Kill Pill is a simple arena shooter game where you shoot pills that randomly spawn around the map. There are six types of powerups you can get: speed (red), jump (blue), automatic firing (green), collateral damage (purple), shotgun (orange), and freezing time (white). Two modes are in the game. Classic mode only has red pills which run toward you. Arcade mode has 4 types of pills: red ones, orange ones which split in two when you shoot them, blue ones which jump with you, and green ones which are faster than you. Each kill is one point added to your score. High scores are saved between each session. How high can you go?
