Killing Time (Classic) is a re-release of the original 1995 game, published by Ziggurat on December 15, 2016. It is a straight port of a finished classic title with no post-launch content cycle — it shipped as a complete, standalone product. The only notable developer communication relevant to this title is a June 24, 2024 announcement that a separate remastered version, Killing Time: Resurrected, was being developed by Nightdive Studios. This remaster is a distinct product on its own Steam page and does not represent additional content planned for this classic version. The store page itself promotes the upcoming remaster, but no new content, patches, or expansions have been announced for the Classic edition. The second news post (January 21, 2021) is about an entirely different game (Real Heroes: Firefighter HD) published by the same publisher and is not relevant to this title. Killing Time (Classic) is a complete, self-contained release.
