Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes launched on Steam on June 24, 2020 as an HD PC port of the original Xbox title. Following launch, Blueside issued a series of bug-fix patches between June 26 and August 7, 2020, addressing crash issues, pathfinding problems, and other stability concerns. The last developer communication of any kind was on August 7, 2020 — nearly six years ago as of today's date (June 25, 2026). There has been no developer activity since then: no new patches, no announcements, no roadmap, and no new content of any kind.
The only DLC ever released was a soundtrack pack on July 29, 2020, with no further DLC listed or announced. The store description presents the game as a complete standalone product — a port of an existing title with a fixed set of campaigns and missions. No future content was ever promised or teased. The post-launch patches were purely maintenance-level fixes, and the "More fixes yet to come. Stay Tuned!" language from those early patches was clearly referring to further bug fixes in that immediate post-launch period — all of which appear to have been completed by August 2020.
This is a finished product that launched complete and received a short burst of stability patching. Development activity ceased in August 2020.
