Kingdoms of the Dump

Kingdoms of the Dump launched on November 18, 2025, created by a two-person team of janitors. The developers have been actively supporting the game since launch with a consistent stream of bug fixes, feature patches, and quality-of-life improvements. In January 2026, the developers confirmed they were still working on a larger content update and a hard mode update. Both of those commitments have now been fulfilled: the v1.1 update released on September 14, 2026 delivered the hard mode along with new content including new open world quests, new enemies and bosses, restored cut content, and additional cutscenes. Importantly, the v1.1 update post closes with: "We hope to share the stories of the Lands of Fill with even more of you in the future." This is a warm sentiment but not a specific commitment to additional content — it does not announce any named DLC, expansion, or update. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store, no roadmap items outstanding, and no developer statement announcing further planned content beyond what was just shipped. The game now appears to be complete. The previously announced content goals have been delivered, and the developer has not communicated any specific plans for what comes next.
