Kitchen Crisis launched on April 3, 2024, with Team Samoyed posting actively in the weeks following release. The developer shipped a series of patches addressing AI logic, balance, stability, and convenience features — culminating in patch 1.3.6 on May 8, 2024. The April 9, 2024 patch note outlined a list of near-term improvements the team was working on, and subsequent patches (1.2.3 on April 17 and 1.3.0 on April 29) delivered on essentially all of those commitments: AI simulation improvements, a UI-hide feature for checking cooking progress, a timer, shortcut keys for tool switching, a recipe selection feature, and improved bottleneck guidance. The final post on May 8, 2024 completed that wave of updates with further balance tuning and bug fixes. No new content has been announced since then, and no roadmap, season pass, or unreleased DLC exists. The three DLC items on the store are all voluntary support tiers (donationware) released on April 3, 2024 — they carry no gameplay content. The developer has not posted any updates since May 8, 2024, and the game appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained product with a post-launch polish cycle that has since concluded.
