Klang

Klang launched on September 22, 2016 as a self-contained rhythm-action platformer. The store description presents it as a complete package with a defined playtime of 2–4 hours, an unlockable difficulty mode, and a soundtrack DLC that released alongside the game on launch day. No post-launch content updates or expansions were ever released for the original Klang. The developer (Tom-Ivar of Tinimations) shifted focus to a sequel, Klang 2, which began development in mid-2017. News posts from 2019 and 2020 confirm that all subsequent creative energy went into that separate title. A December 2022 developer video explicitly frames the original Klang as a completed debut work, referring to it in retrospective terms and even offering tips on how to enjoy it "in the current year" — the language of a finished game being revisited, not one receiving ongoing development. That post also confirms Klang 2 has since launched across multiple platforms, meaning the sequel itself is complete and separate. Klang launched as a finished product and has never received post-launch content. The sole DLC is the original soundtrack, which shipped on release day. There is nothing outstanding or undelivered.
