Octahedron: Transfixed Edition launched on March 20, 2018. After launch, the developer shipped a series of feature updates through early 2019, culminating in the Transfixed Edition upgrade being made free for all Steam owners on February 22, 2019 — described at the time as "the definitive version of Octahedron." The sole DLC (the Collector's Upgrade) was released on launch day and has been the only paid add-on.
The most recent developer communication was on December 23, 2023, when publishing rights returned to the developer (Demimonde). That post included a small quality-of-life update — a new Japanese localization and an improved Cyrillic font — but contained no announcements of future content, roadmaps, or additional planned updates. There is no unreleased DLC listed on the store and no outstanding commitments from the developer.
The game has had no developer communication since December 23, 2023, and no pattern of ongoing major content updates exists beyond what was delivered in 2018–2019. The December 2023 post appears to mark the last meaningful update to the game. With all content shipped and no future plans communicated, the game is complete.
