Neon Beats

Neon Beats launched on May 3, 2019 as a free-to-play rhythm platformer made by a student team. Shortly after launch, the developers announced they would continue working on the game, and in March 2020 they released a paid DLC — "A Beat Further" — adding 5 new levels with new music and mechanics. Both DLC entries (including a soundtrack pack) are fully released. In January 2021, the developers released the game on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV), bundling the base game and DLC content together. That Apple release, announced on January 13, 2021, is the last developer communication on record. The store description describes a fixed set of 4 levels with no mention of future updates, and all listed DLC has shipped. There have been no developer posts, announcements, or content releases since January 2021, and no outstanding content commitments exist. The game appears to have reached its final state with the Apple launch, which completed the content cycle.
