Electronic Super Joy

Electronic Super Joy launched on August 23, 2013 as a complete platformer. After launch, the developer shipped two paid DLC packs: Bonus Content (December 18, 2013) and A Hot Sticky Mess (December 6, 2014), both of which are fully released. The game also received several free content updates in 2015, including Update #1 (April 19, 2015), which added 5 new levels and a boss fight, and Update #2 (April 26, 2015), which added 4 more levels and new hazards. The store description notes that a Holiday Update with 15 new achievements, 3 levels, and a new boss is already included in the base game. By mid-2015, all post-launch content activity had concluded. The developer's last meaningful communication was a March 20, 2020 post about running a sale during the COVID-19 pandemic, which also mentioned that the developer had moved on to Electronic Super Joy 2 — a separate, standalone sequel. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content for this game, and no indication of ongoing development. The game is a complete, finished product.
