Evaluation

Kozue's Strange Journey released on August 6, 2020 as a complete, self-contained indie RPG published by Kagura Games. There is no DLC listed for the game, no post-launch updates or patches, and no developer communications specific to this title after its release. The news posts associated with this game's Steam page are all publisher-level announcements from Kagura Games promoting entirely different titles in their catalogue — none of them reference Kozue's Strange Journey or announce any additional content for it. The one post tagged as a development status update (April 1, 2022) is an April Fools' announcement for a fictional Kagura Games mobile game and is entirely unrelated to this title. This game launched as a finished product with no post-launch content cycle, and there is no indication from the developer or publisher that any additional content was ever planned.

About this game

One night, when Kozue Kato realizes she's forgotten some paperwork at her university, she decides to make a late-night trip to grab it.

However, when large dark beasts appear during her errand, she barely escapes with her life thanks to the help of a mysterious woman named Sayuri Shirasagi.

Not all is well, though. Soon reports of people going missing begin to spread. Kozue and Sayuri suspect the creatures and disappearances are related, and they decide to team up to investigate.
