KUBOOM

KUBOOM is a free-to-play cross-platform online shooter that has been live since October 2016 and is structured as an ongoing live service game. The developer introduced a seasonal battle pass system called BOOM PASS in November 2024, establishing a recurring content cycle that delivers new heroes, weapon skins, cosmetics, maps, and game modes on a seasonal basis — the hallmark of a game designed to receive content indefinitely rather than conclude at a fixed point. The most recent major update, "Crime Wave," shipped on August 3, 2026, bringing a completely reworked animation system, two new heroes (Bandit and Shark), a brand-new map (Sunbake), and the latest BOOM PASS season.
