Kyle Simulator

Kyle Simulator launched on June 27, 2019 and received a couple of early updates. In July 2019, the developer shipped Update 1.25 with new content and promised that the next update would include an inventory system and other features. Two years later, on September 5, 2021, the developer returned with a "Metal AF" update — but explicitly framed it as a casual revisit to refresh the engine and theme, not a commitment to continued development. Notably, the developer wrote: "There is no point in this update really, besides getting rid of the 4th Of July theme... I just felt like revisiting a couple of my projects, starting with this one to refresh my memory and move onto a next thing." This language strongly signals the developer is moving on rather than continuing to develop the game. There have been no developer communications of any kind since September 5, 2021. The store page still lists planned features (VR support, weapons, more vehicles), but those represent aspirations from the original launch listing — the developer's own words from the final update indicate they were wrapping up their involvement with the project. Given nearly five years of silence following that explicit "moving onto a next thing" statement, the game can reasonably be considered finished in its current state.
