Lakeburg Legacies launched on July 20, 2023. In the weeks following release, Ishtar Games was highly active, shipping a stream of bug fix and feature patches through August and September 2023. On November 7, 2023, the studio released Patch 1.1 — the game's only named major update — which added villager customization, a castle expansion, multiple saves, new relationships, new events, and substantial rebalancing. A small bug fix patch followed on November 16, and another on November 21, 2023. That November 21 patch is the last developer communication on record.
No further updates, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since November 21, 2023 — now more than two and a half years ago. The game has only one identifiable major content milestone post-launch (Patch 1.1), so there is no recurring cadence of major updates to suggest more are expected.
