Last Report launched on July 11, 2025 as a complete solo-developed pixel art horror game. Following launch, the developer released a Localization Update on September 22, 2025, adding eight new languages, and then delivered the Endings Update (version 1.1) on April 14, 2026 — a free content update adding two new major endings, controller support, Steam Deck support, expanded story lore, and additional languages. A small hotfix followed on May 3, 2026 to resolve minor bugs introduced by the 1.1 update. In the April 14, 2026 Endings Update post, the developer explicitly stated: "this is probably the final update" and described the game as "exactly what I wanted it to be." They mentioned an Endless Mode idea but explicitly declined to promise it. The developer then thanked the community and indicated their focus is shifting to a new game. All previously announced commitments — new endings, controller support, Steam Deck support, and expanded localization — have been delivered. No unreleased DLC exists on the store, and no further content has been announced.
