Digital Confectioners officially announced the retirement of Last Tide on February 20, 2024. That same post confirmed that the game would be removed from purchase on February 20, 2024, and that the official game servers would be shut down on March 31, 2024. The store listing confirms the game is no longer purchasable. The short description on the store page also carries a warning that support for this game is ending. The game never left Early Access before being shut down — it launched on August 27, 2018 and received several feature updates through late 2018, but development ceased well before the server shutdown in 2024. The servers are now offline, and the game cannot be purchased.
