Legend of Dungeon

Legend of Dungeon launched on September 13, 2013 and received several rounds of post-launch content over the following years. The major updates include the "Legend Heroes" expansion in March 2015, which added classes, tameable pets, and Oculus Rift VR support, as well as a standalone DLC that shipped on June 8, 2015. In late 2015, the developer announced a "Legend of Dungeon: Masters" game mode featuring crowd interaction for livestreams. In February 2018, Robot Loves Kitty announced they were moving on to a new game called Super Tony Land, while also noting that one more Legend of Dungeon update — bringing VR out of beta with some additions — was still in progress. In December 2018, that update was confirmed via an announcement asking players to opt into a beta for improved VR mode, new monsters, items, and secrets. This represents the last known developer communication, and that update was the final planned work the developer had mentioned. Since December 2018, there have been no further posts, announcements, or updates from the developer. The December 2018 beta announcement described VR improvements and new content as the remaining work, and the February 2018 development status post made clear the studio's focus had moved to their next game. With all announced content apparently shipped and no new commitments made, the game appears to have reached its final state around early 2019 when the beta-tested update would have gone live. No further content has been announced since then, and the single DLC on the store is marked as released.
