Legend of Edda: Pegasus is a free-to-play MMORPG that originally launched on July 22, 2023 and received multiple major content updates through 2023 and 2024. After a period offline, the developer published a comeback announcement on August 15, 2026, detailing extensive new content — new maps, new races, a native Battle Pass, a rebuilt Item Mall, and the full content of a companion game ("Crowned Sun") merged in — along with features still actively being built, including controller support and a mobile client.
On August 24, 2026, the developer opened the first Open Alpha test, with character wipes planned before the official relaunch. Detailed devlogs followed on August 26 and September 4, 2026 covering new professions, crafting overhauls, new dungeons, a new Battle Pass system, and extensive balance and economy reworks. On August 29, 2026, the in-game shop went live, selling Drachma packs and the Season 1 Battle Pass.
The game is structured as a live service: it operates a seasonal Battle Pass (Season 1 opened in early September 2026), a weekly rotating Item Mall, and receives continuous content updates. The developer has explicitly confirmed that additional features — controller support, a mobile client, and ongoing content — are still in development. This is a game designed for indefinite ongoing operation, not a finite content product.

Legend of Edda: Pegasus is currently running an Open Alpha. Expect bugs, expect balance to move, and expect all characters and progress to be wiped before the official launch. DYNAMIC CHARACTER CLASSES
Begin as a Fighter, Rogue or Mage and keep branching - Warrior, Swordsman, Assassin, Archer, Cleric and Wizard, and on into named specialisations such as Templar, Sniper, Arcanist and Necromancer. Every class has its own Tome of Power identity bonuses, and a sidearm slot lets you swap weapons mid-fight to fire six weapon-gated skills. An elemental attack and defence layer runs through every hit, skill and piece of gear.BEASTS, DUNGEONS AND THE COLOSSEUM
