Evaluation

LEGO Horizon Adventures launched on November 14, 2024 as a complete, self-contained game. The store description presents it as a full adventure with no indication of post-launch expansions, season passes, or planned additional content. The only DLC listed is a Digital Deluxe Edition upgrade (released simultaneously on launch day, November 14, 2024), which bundles cosmetic bonus items — not a content expansion. Following launch, the developer shipped three bug-fix patches (1.02 on November 21, 2024; 1.03 on December 12, 2024; 1.04 on February 6, 2025), addressing crashes, gameplay bugs, and quality-of-life improvements. The most recent communication from the developer was the Patch 1.04 notes on February 6, 2025. No roadmap, future DLC announcements, or ongoing content plans have been communicated at any point. The game was designed and marketed as a standalone, complete experience — a lighthearted LEGO retelling of the original Horizon story co-developed by Guerrilla, Studio Gobo, and The LEGO Group. There is no evidence of a live service structure, seasonal content, or post-launch expansion plans. The game launched complete and has since received only maintenance patches.

LEGO® Horizon Adventures™

Journey to a distant future, where the land is made of LEGO bricks and lush nature has reclaimed the Earth. Meet the Nora tribe who live in the settlement of Mother’s Heart, and catch your first glimpse of the incredible dinosaur-like machines that roam the forests, mountains, and deserts that stretch beyond the village walls...

The LEGO adventure of a lifetime

Join hunter Aloy as she battles to save Earth from an ancient digital demon, and a gang of sunworshippers who want to live in a world without shade so they can soak up the rays while everything burns.

Play alone or with friends

Hunt machines on your own as Aloy, or unlock colourful heroes Varl, Teersa, and Erend, and use their unique skills to defeat enemies and overcome challenges. Share the fun with another player online**, or via innovative couch co-op on a single screen, so you’re always in the same world together.

Customize your home and your characters

Give the village of Mother’s Heart a unique makeover, decorating it in delightful ways to unlock unique LEGO buildings and ornaments. You can even dish out hilarious outfits for your friends to wear!

For LEGO and Horizon fans new and old
