Let's Patiti! launched on March 31, 2025 as a free-to-play multiplayer party game from a small 6-person indie team. A cosmetic DLC (12 cat outfits) was released on April 3, 2025. After launch, the developer maintained an active and communicative update cadence: multiple bug fix and feature patches shipped in April 2025, a major feature update on June 20, 2025 added a custom lap count system alongside HUD and map model overhauls, and version 1.0.9 on July 4, 2025 added a new mini-game ("Cat Shooting") and an entirely new "Mini-game Rush" game mode. That July 4, 2025 post also included an explicit statement: "We are working hard to develop new gameplay/new modes, and we will bring you more diverse game content in the future." However, July 4, 2025 was the last developer communication of any kind. As of September 24, 2026, the team has been completely silent for over 14 months — a stark departure from the frequent posting pattern they maintained throughout the spring and summer of 2025. The developer had previously been transparent about constraints (noting in June 2025 that a new large map was not feasible in the short term due to limited resources), which is consistent with a small 6-person team.
