Evaluation
LifeZ - Survival entered Steam Early Access on March 29, 2018 and received a consistent stream of major content updates from the developer (iDs Games) across 2018, 2019, and 2020 — numbered updates covering new locations, quests, weapons, crafting systems, UI overhauls, and gameplay mechanics. The last confirmed developer communication was Update #17, published on December 31, 2020, which added a new Supermarket location with dungeons and the UCP (Unlimited Cave Production) respawn mechanic.
Since December 31, 2020, the developer has posted nothing — no patch notes, no announcements, no development status updates. The game has remained in Early Access for the entirety of this silence, with no 1.0 release and no developer statement about whether development is continuing, paused, or concluded. This silence now spans more than five years. There is no evidence the game will receive further updates, but equally no formal statement that development has ended.
Evidence
Update #17 shipped, adding the Supermarket location with two dungeons and the UCP location-restart mechanic. This is the last known developer communication.
Developer announced Update #17 was nearly ready, describing it as the result of approximately 6 months of work.
