Little Witch Survivors launched on August 21, 2025 and has since received a high volume of post-launch content. Major additions include: the first paid DLC "Oracle & Rebellion" (December 12, 2025), which added ten new witches, 30 Guardian Spirits, and a new Egyptian-themed map; dual Christmas Legendary Weapons and seasonal events (December 24, 2025); ten new Guardian Familiar Eggs (January 8, 2026); a Basic Costume System with Lunar New Year weapons (February 15, 2026); and the Medal Pusher Costume System (March 20, 2026). Beyond these, the developer has shipped 12 feature patches and 8 bug-fix updates since launch. The last developer communication was on March 20, 2026 — approximately six months before today's date of September 24, 2026. This is at the outer edge of the historical cadence window (updates have typically arrived every 4–8 weeks), and six months without any communication is notable for a studio that previously posted very frequently. However, the March 20, 2026 post also revealed that the team is actively working on a new game in the Little Witch series, which could explain a quieter period for the base game. Crucially, the developer has not announced the end of content development for Little Witch Survivors, and no "final update" statement has been made. The March 20 post itself delivered new content (the Medal Pusher system), so there is no sign of distress or abandonment — just a possible slowdown as the team focuses resources on the next title. Given the six months of silence against a previously very active cadence, this is approaching but not yet decisively beyond the threshold for concern. The developer's explanation for their focus shift (working on the next series entry) provides context for a slower period. The assessment remains active development, though another evaluation period with continued silence would shift this toward development uncertain.
