Evaluation

LockYourDoor launched on November 17, 2025 as a 1–4 player co-op survival horror game. The developer (Penguin's Autumn) has been actively patching the game since launch, shipping multiple feature and bug-fix updates through late 2025. More importantly, the developer has explicitly communicated that Chapter 2 is coming. In a December 26, 2025 update post, they stated they "already have a roadmap for Chapter 2" and are collecting player feedback to shape the game further, promising to share a confirmed release date once finalized. Then on March 18, 2026, the developer published a dedicated announcement confirming that work on Chapter 2 has begun and inviting players to complete a survey to help guide its development. March 18, 2026 is the most recent developer communication on record. The developer has made a clear, direct commitment to additional content — Chapter 2 is announced, in active development, and not yet released. The current release represents Chapter 1 only.
