LogicBots launched out of Early Access on February 8, 2017, with the developer (Ken at Incandescent Games) explicitly describing it as the "finished game" in the release announcement. The game shipped with 40 levels, sandbox mode, a level builder, and Steam Workshop integration — a complete, self-contained package. After launch, the developer shipped a handful of post-release patches adding new sandbox parts (such as the Target Gun and Target Identifier in April 2018) and language/bug fixes. The most recent game update was the Sandbox Update on April 10, 2018. Since then, there have been no further updates to LogicBots. The only developer communication after April 2018 was a February 5, 2024 announcement about an entirely separate game called PlanetSmith, which the studio was showcasing in Steam Next Fest. The store description makes no mention of planned additional content, and there are no unreleased DLC listings. The developer has moved on to a new project, and LogicBots has received no updates in over seven years. The game is complete as released.
