Lonely Mountains: Downhill launched on October 23, 2019 and received a healthy run of paid DLC expansions over several years: Eldfjall (October 22, 2020), Riley's Return (December 15, 2021), Misty Peak (May 23, 2022), Redmoor Falls (November 17, 2022), and Rivera's Revenge (October 25, 2023). All six DLC entries in the store listing are marked as released, with Rivera's Revenge being the most recent. The developer, Megagon Industries, has been transparent about the game's future. In March 2024, they announced that all upcoming Daily Rides seasons would shift to recap rotations of existing content rather than new original seasons, citing their focus on a new game in development. That new game — Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders — launched on January 21, 2025, confirming the studio's attention had fully moved on. Since Rivera's Revenge shipped in October 2023, no new DLC or major content has been released for Downhill. The studio's communications have focused entirely on Snow Riders. The game's Daily Rides feature continues to run recap seasons (cycling through previously released content), which represents ongoing live operation but not new content development. No future DLC or content additions for Downhill have been announced. The developer celebrated the game's sixth birthday in October 2025 and noted it still has an active player base, but this was a celebratory acknowledgment rather than a promise of future content. All available evidence points to Rivera's Revenge (October 25, 2023) as the final content release for the game.
