Longsword - Tabletop Tactics

Longsword - Tabletop Tactics entered Steam Early Access on July 20, 2017. The developer, Zero Sum Games, published a detailed roadmap at launch outlining significant remaining work: expanding the card count from 158 to 350+, priming all Champions for painting, adding ranked matchmaking, co-op modes, and more. Throughout 2017 and into 2018, the developer shipped regular weekly patches adding new cards, bug fixes, and features. On February 19, 2018, the developer stated they were "moving hard towards a release." On May 3, 2018, they transitioned the game to a free-to-play model while remaining in Early Access. The last known update was Patch 18, posted on October 4, 2018. Since October 4, 2018, there have been no developer posts, patches, announcements, or communications of any kind. The game remains in Early Access on Steam with its original Early Access description still in place. The card count (described as 250+ in the store description) fell short of the 350+ goal stated in the roadmap. The promised 1.0 release never arrived. With nearly 8 years of complete silence since the last update, it is very unclear whether development is continuing or the project has been quietly abandoned.
