Evaluation

Loopstructor launched on August 7, 2024 and received a strong wave of post-launch updates. Within the first few months, the developer shipped multiple major content updates: v1.3.0 on August 30, 2024 (new modes, bases, vehicles, enemies), v1.4.0 on September 14, 2024 (new difficulty levels and bosses), and the "Ultimate Update" on October 29, 2024 (final boss at difficulty 20, new game mode, numerous modules). A feature patch (v1.6.0) followed on November 27, 2024, and a further maintenance/balance patch (v1.7.5) shipped on March 13, 2025. Since March 13, 2025, there have been no further updates to Loopstructor itself. The developer's attention has visibly shifted to two new projects: "Shrink Rooms" (announced January 10, 2025) and "Rail Defence: Eldritch Siege" — described explicitly in a January 27, 2026 post as "the long-anticipated sequel to Loopstructor." A public playtest for Rail Defence began February 3, 2026, with a demo planned for March 2026. The original post-launch roadmap items published on August 12, 2024 (new bases, vehicles, modules, difficulty levels, random mode, leaderboard, endless mode, monthly challenge) were all delivered through the major updates that followed. The "Ultimate Update" of October 29, 2024 was framed as the culminating content addition. No unshipped DLC or announced future content for Loopstructor exists. The developer has moved on to building a sequel, which strongly implies that Loopstructor's content is complete. The last patch on March 13, 2025 represents the final known update to the game.
