Loot River

Loot River launched on May 3, 2022 and received a solid post-launch update run. In the first months, straka.studio shipped numerous patches improving combat, movement, and quality of life, followed by two named major content updates: Daily Runs on August 29, 2022, and the Level Editor on December 19, 2023. The Level Editor post — the most recent developer communication — expressed hope for "more regular updates" going forward, but that was in December 2023. As of June 23, 2026, there has been no developer communication of any kind for over two and a half years. The two major content releases are roughly 16 months apart, meaning the silence since December 19, 2023 — now well over twice that interval — far exceeds any reasonable expectation of a follow-up release. No future content has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists on the store, and the developer has not published any roadmap or commitment to further updates. The only DLC listed is the Original Soundtrack, which shipped at launch. The Level Editor update's comment about getting "back on track" was aspirational but has not been followed by any action. The game appears to have reached its final state with the Level Editor release.
