Evaluation
Lootun launched into Early Access and reached its 1.0 release on May 10, 2024. Since then, the developer has continued to ship substantial content updates at a consistent pace:
- **1.1** (October 19, 2024): Added a new endgame Raid, Endless Wings, a new Thorns attribute, and new Cooldown skills.
- **1.2** (October 4, 2025): Added a new Raid, Mythic difficulty missions, a new Pristine item tier, Mission Idols, and a Flask rework — a major content expansion.
- **1.3** (April 4, 2026): Added another new Raid, Mythic Enchants, an Item Research system, and a Mission Expertise rework.
The developer also ran a public beta for 1.3 starting March 21, 2026, and has continued releasing follow-up bug-fix patches through May 22, 2026 — the most recent communication on record. This establishes a sustained pattern of major content arriving roughly every 6–12 months, with continuous smaller patches in between.
No specific future content has been announced as of the latest posts, and no unreleased DLC is listed on the store. However, given the strong and consistent update history with no statement from the developer that development is winding down, and with the last major update arriving just over two months before today's date (June 21, 2026), the game is well within its established update cadence. Lootun is a semi-idle game that allows you to create teams of up to 3 and send them off to clear dungeons for you while you equip, salvage or upgrade the items they find.
Steam Demo:
Lootun offers a Steam Demo allowing you to play the game up to level 50. Demo saves and achievements will automatically transfer to the full version.
Core Features:
Lootun offers 4 core classes to choose from each with a custom set of skills and 3 Ascendancy Classes to upgrade into.
There are a total of 28 default skills and 28 cooldown skills available. Each skill has 8 different passives to choose from allowing for a wide variety of builds. In addition each Class and Ascendancy Class offers a total of 25 passives to choose from.
500+ Equipment Items to collect, providing a high level of customization when equipping your adventurers.

As you progress through Lootun you will be able to use your acquired materials to purchase powerful, gameplay altering upgrades including the ability to collect more, better quality, equipment, unlock crafting, professions, a flask system and powerful socketable gems.
Lootun provides a number of powerful automation features such as auto salvage, automatic ability casting and automatically restarting combat upon defeat. Such automation features allow you to have multiple teams of adventurers active at once.
