Love, Sam

Love, Sam originally launched on June 4, 2019 as a solo developer passion project by Seyun Choi (Korean Linguistics Lab). In October 2022, the developer released a major "Rewrite" update — effectively a near-complete remake of the game — with improved gameplay, visuals, and revised text. This was followed by graphical settings in November 2022, bug fixes and difficulty adjustments in January 2023, and finally Chinese and Japanese language support added on April 7, 2023. Since April 2023, the developer's attention has visibly shifted to their next game, "Letters of Bernard Thorne." A reveal trailer was posted in June 2024, a detailed interview about the new game was published in July 2024, and the new game launched on March 30, 2025. The developer has not announced any further updates, content, or features planned for Love, Sam. The store page itself notes the availability of a legacy pre-Rewrite version, suggesting the current version is considered the final, polished form of the game. Love, Sam appears to be a complete, finished product. The developer has moved on to their next project, and there are no outstanding commitments or announcements of additional content for this game.
