Love Sucks: Night One

Love Sucks: Night One is a free-to-play adult visual novel that launched on April 8, 2021, and the store description explicitly describes it as "the first part of three" in the Love Sucks story. Night Two was released as a separate paid game on April 26, 2024. In the Night Two release announcement, the developer explicitly stated: "Night Three will still take its time to develop" — a direct confirmation that the third and final installment in the planned trilogy remains in active development. Night One itself has received its own content updates over the years, and the developer's commitment to completing the trilogy has been consistently maintained throughout their communications. Art Witch Studios is a small indie team; Night Two took several years after Night One, so Night Three is expected to be a long-term effort. The last developer communication was on April 26, 2024, which matches the Night Two launch. While there has been no Steam post since that date, the developer noted they are primarily active on Twitter and Discord, and the clear statement about Night Three's ongoing development stands as the most recent official word.
