Prince of Suburbia - Part 1 is a free-to-play adult visual novel that launched on Steam on December 21, 2023. The core story across Parts 1 and 2 was completed with the V1.0 patch in November 2023, but ViM Studios has continued developing paid DLC content. The first DLC, "Knock Me Up Again!", has a confirmed release date of September 24, 2026, announced on August 8, 2026. A June 27, 2026 developer update confirmed the DLC was in final polish stages — translations nearly complete, remaining audio and credits work being wrapped up. This DLC is imminent and certain. The second DLC, "I'm Pregnant!", is also confirmed in active development. As of June 27, 2026, the developer's programmer had begun implementing it, and art assets were still being finalized. The developer has explicitly stated this is next in line after "Knock Me Up Again!" ships. ViM Studios has maintained consistent and detailed public communication throughout 2025 and 2026, with developer logs in March, May, June, and August 2026. The studio also disclosed in January 2025 that a separate game ("A Shot in the Dark") slowed due to a family health situation, but made clear that Prince of Suburbia DLC work was unaffected.
