LuckCatchers

LuckCatchers is a free-to-play MMO that has formally concluded its service. On April 7, 2021, the developer announced they would be stopping development of LuckCatchers in favor of a successor game, LuckCatchers 2. They disabled real-money purchases immediately and began compensating players for in-game assets. On April 30, 2023, the developer confirmed that the LuckCatchers server would permanently close on June 1, 2023, with all player accounts and in-game currency to be migrated to LuckCatchers 2. The server closure date of June 1, 2023 marks the end of this game's active service. Despite the server closing, the game's Steam page remains purchasable, though the underlying service is no longer running. The developer's communications are unambiguous and consistent: development ended, real-money purchases were disabled, and the game was formally shut down in June 2023.
