Lucky Mayor launched on November 28, 2023, and MadGoat Game Studio posted a steady stream of updates in the months following release — adding new citizens, artifacts, game modes (including an endless mode), accessibility features, and language support. The last developer communication of any kind was the July 6, 2024 bug fix and French language update (NEWS-1). Since then, as of today's date of September 24, 2026, there have been no further posts — a silence of over 26 months. The developer's update pattern from launch through July 2024 shows roughly 17 posts over about 8 months, averaging new feature patches every 4–6 weeks. The longest gap between posts during the active period was a matter of weeks. The current silence of over 26 months is dramatically beyond that cadence — more than 10 times the typical interval between updates. The store description states "the development team will continue to provide updates for even more game content," and a February 2024 post explored a potential Challenge Mode. However, neither commitment has been followed through with any subsequent communication. Given the extraordinary length of silence — with no posts, no Challenge Mode delivery, and no further developer statements since July 6, 2024 — the update cadence has clearly ended.
