Lunar's Chosen - Episode 1 is a completed product. The developer explicitly stated on March 22, 2024 that "Episode 1 is officially complete" with the release of V1.0, describing it as "marking the end of development of Episode 1." This followed the earlier V0.26 release on December 14, 2023, which delivered the story's ending, with V1.0 serving purely as a polish pass on existing content — no new story or gameplay content was added.
The game had been in development since at least late 2021, growing well beyond its original scope through regular content updates before the developer restructured it as the first episode of a multi-part series in September 2023. Episode 2 launched separately as its own Steam title on March 29, 2024 — one week after Episode 1's V1.0 release — continuing the story from where Episode 1 left off.
All three listed DLC items (two wallpaper packs and a donation DLC) have been released. No unreleased DLC exists, no future content for Episode 1 has been announced, and the developer has clearly moved on to Episode 2 and other projects. Anyone waiting for Episode 1 to be "done" before playing can consider it a fully complete experience as of March 22, 2024.

Play as the main character who is bestowed the ability to read minds by the Goddess Lunar, but that's not all his power can do, even if he doesn't know it yet.
Help him discover more about his abilities and the people around him as he navigates this new found power. Meet with a witch who knows a lot about magic and quite likes to experiment using the new and unusual form of magic you now possess.
Unfortunately, others are also interested in this unique power. Moving in with your best friend seemed like a good idea at first, but now she's in danger thanks to your new powers.
Navigate the main story, while also meeting a host of other characters, each with their own storylines. Experience their unique personalities as you learn about them and help them learn new things about themselves.
