Lust Theory - Season 1 launched on March 18, 2022 as a complete visual novel. The "Season 1" framing always indicated this was a standalone, finished installment rather than an ongoing live game. The developer shipped one piece of actual gameplay content after launch: the Christmas Adventure update on December 22, 2022, which added a bonus seasonal story event with 3,049 images and 94 animations. Since then, all updates have been quality-of-life improvements — a full narration voice-over (November 23, 2023) and minor feature patches like a narrator mute option and auto-forward button (July 18, 2025). The most recent developer news post (July 7, 2026) announces an entirely new game, Lust Bound, launching in Steam Early Access — a separate title, not a continuation of Season 1. This further confirms that development attention has moved on from this game. The only DLC is a cosmetic 4K wallpaper pack (released October 7, 2022). There are no unreleased DLC items, no roadmap for Season 1, and no developer statements about additional story content for this title. The game is complete.
