Evaluation
MachineCraft entered Steam Early Access on March 25, 2016 and has remained there ever since. During its active development window, the developer (a solo or very small indie team operating as G2CREW) shipped a steady stream of feature patches and bug fixes, with versions updating roughly every one to two weeks. On July 6, 2017, the developer posted a notice extending the Early Access period by six months. However, the last recorded developer communication of any kind was the feature patch release notes posted on July 16, 2017. No updates, announcements, or communications of any kind have been posted since that date. As of June 27, 2026, the game has been silent for nearly nine years while still listed in Early Access. The store description still references planned future competition features and a testing-phase battle/race mode, but those plans were never followed through with any additional updates. The game remains purchasable on Steam but shows no signs of continued development.
Evidence
Release Notes for Ver.0.248 — the last developer communication of any kind. No updates have been posted since this date.
Developer announced a six-month extension of the Early Access period and updated system requirements, signaling continued intent to develop at that time.

About this game
OVERVIEW
The main purpose of this game is showing and watching machines made out of blocks. Some of the game-modes allow you to battle or race against other players. (testing phase)
You can create your original machine with ease by reassembling those machines that are distributed,
or by using the automatic control block.
CRAFT
By using plastic chassis and functional parts, you can make a variety of shapes and movements, such as standard machines(cars, bikes, tanks, airplanes, helicopters, ships), as well as
unique machines (transformation-robots, arm-cranes, animals, plants, meals).
Additionally, you can place boxes of any size to make a simple stage.
MULTIPLAY
You have the freedom to make a room and set the rules as you want, and maximum of 30 people can join.Currently lounging around is the mainstream, but I am aiming at enhanced competition in the future.
My goal is to make this game into a place where people can feel free to make their room in their own rules without serious conflict.
