Evaluation
Macrotis: A Mother's Journey is a self-contained indie puzzle-platformer that launched on February 8, 2019 as Proud Dinosaurs' debut title. Following launch, the developer released several patches adding Mac support, expanded controller compatibility, performance improvements, and bug fixes. The most significant post-launch milestone was the console release on October 21, 2020, which the developer celebrated as a major achievement. The last developer communication of any kind was a hotfix on November 12, 2020. The only DLC ever released is the Original Soundtrack (September 30, 2019) — a cosmetic / media add-on rather than game content. No new gameplay content has been announced, no roadmap exists, and there are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. The game launched as a complete story-driven experience, and the developer has shown no indication of plans for additional content. With no developer communication since November 12, 2020, and no outstanding commitments, the game is considered content-complete.
