Seen

Seen has been in Early Access since June 20, 2019 and remains there today. The developer was fairly active from launch through 2021, shipping regular feature updates that added new content, improved gameplay systems, and fixed bugs. The last official communication was on July 20, 2021 (Update 15), in which the developer relabeled the current ending as "End of Part One" and announced plans to release a sequel called Seen 2 in the "near future," even linking its Steam wishlist page. This means the game as it currently stands is explicitly described as incomplete — it represents only Part One of a larger story. However, since that July 2021 post, there have been no further updates, announcements, or communications from the developer. The game has remained in Early Access for nearly five years without a 1.0 release or any statement about the sequel's progress. The Steam page for Seen 2 was wishlisted but there is no indication it has launched or received further communication. This extended silence, combined with outstanding commitments (the sequel and the implied completion of the story), raises real uncertainty about whether development is still ongoing.
