On July 18, 2023, the developer shipped the 1.0 update, which added the final zone (Zone 7) and the Cthulhu boss fight that had been the game's promised conclusion since its earliest promotional materials. Kill enough enemies to charge a blood portal that summons rewards and a path to the next area and then survive epic and dreadful multi-phased boss battles.
