Makis Adventure

Makis Adventure launched on January 18, 2023 and has been actively developed by solo developer Mateo (ZoroArts). Major updates shipped after launch include: a multiplayer and minigames update in April 2023, a Boss Rush mode in August 2023, and a large content overhaul in February 2025 that introduced a full Level Editor, a new minigame, and a revamped save system. The Level Editor received further improvements in May 2025, and a small bug fix patch followed on September 19, 2025. On April 20, 2025, the developer announced that Makis Adventure would launch on consoles "THIS YEAR" (2025) in partnership with publisher eastasiasoft. The developer also explicitly stated plans to continue expanding the Level Editor — calling it a "dream feature" they would "work a lot on in the Future." However, as of October 1, 2026, no news post confirms the console launch ever happened. The last developer communication was the September 19, 2025 bug fix patch — a silence of over 12 months. This breaks the active update cadence the developer had maintained and leaves the status of the announced console release unclear. With an outstanding commitment unconfirmed and a prolonged communication silence, the current status of development cannot be verified.
