About this game
The sign says "Market is Fine". The shelves are half empty, the till is out of change and the news is reporting another crisis. Take a deep breath: everything is fine.

Every morning MIF NEWS goes live. A strike, a scandal, a "doctors are worried" segment… and the wholesale price, shelf price and demand of the products in the story change on the spot. After the broadcast, the Market Impact panel shows what spiked, how long it lasts and what you should do about it.

Not every story is true. Yellow UNCONFIRMED stories haven't been verified. Everyone panic-buys, then the next morning the DEBUNKED bulletin airs and demand falls off a cliff. Do you panic, or discount your way out of the pile?

No boring pop-up menus here. The checkout is fully 3D:

The store gets dirty on its own. Customers drop their cola, walk in with muddy shoes and toss wrappers on the floor, and the shop window gets a little greyer every day. As the store gets dirtier, customers start to complain. Once it really stinks, they turn around at the door with a green cloud over their heads.

The sun goes down, the street lamps come on and your sign lights up. When the day ends, your receipt prints out: customers, revenue, expenses, news impact, theft, open tabs… and then the stamp lands: PROFIT – EVERYTHING IS FINE. Or LOSS – BUT EVERYTHING IS FINE.
Opportunist or honest grocer?
When a crisis hits, will you jack up prices and cash in on the panic, or be the shop the neighbourhood trusts? Will you let them buy on credit, or show them the door? Both paths end the day with a stamp on your receipt. Which one is right? You decide.

- 15 crises × 10 languages: every language is written around its own country's headlines. That's 150 different news stories, each with its own brand of dark humor.
- An anchor, a video wall, a breaking-news sting and a ticker. It feels like watching a real channel.
- Read the room and stock up to profit, or watch your shelves rot.
- Customers talk about the news too. Some hoard because "did you hear?", others grumble at your prices and walk out.

- Aim at a product and click. It glides over the scanner with a beep and lands on the receipt.
- Cash: the camera drops to the drawer. Count the change bill by bill and coin by coin in MIF Dollars.
- Card: lean in to the terminal, key in the total with the buttons or your keyboard, and hit the green OK.
- Short-changed someone? They'll remember.

- The credit book: let the neighbours buy on tab. Some pay on time, some vanish, and some debts are gone for good.
- Bank loans: need cash for shelves? Installments are collected automatically on the due date, and late payments pile up interest.
- Shoplifters: someone is pocketing snacks. Grab the stick, give chase and install an alarm gate.
- Customers check your prices: too steep and they shake their heads; a good deal earns a thumbs up.

- Mop, cloth and trash bag: pick up the tool, aim at the mess and hold. A dirty window wipes clean as its percentage fills up.
- Hire a cleaner: they mop and they pick up trash. Hit them with the bat by accident and they'll swear at you, but they won't let go of the mop.

- 250+ products, 12 licenses: dry goods, frozen food, drinks, cleaning supplies and more.
- 70+ parody products on the shelves: Keep Calm Gummies, Bunker Cake, Doomscroll Lime, Crisis Crisps, Mixed Feelings, Breaking Brew…
- Shelving units, fridges, freezers, a fruit stand and alarm gates. Place them wherever you like.
- MarketOS: your PC runs the supplier catalog, licenses, expansions, staff, the bank and the news archive.
- MIF Pad: a tablet in your pocket with revenue charts, low-stock alerts, pricing and the credit book.
- Hire a cashier and a cleaner, expand the store, finish missions and level up.
