The House Always Wins

The House Always Wins launched on May 21, 2026 and has received a rapid series of updates since release. Major Update 1.1 (June 10, 2026) added three new game modes and a save slot system. Major Update 1.2 (August 5, 2026) delivered the Pets mechanic, a Security Guard employee, Baccarat, 6-player co-op, and lighting customization tools — all of which were on the original roadmap. The Pets DLC also launched alongside Update 1.2 on August 5, 2026. On August 20, 2026, the developer announced a separate new game called "Put Your Toys Away Together!" and used that post to explicitly reassure players: "we are not going anywhere. Update 1.2 and the Pets DLC landed only days ago, and The House Always Wins keeps its own team, its own roadmap and its own updates." This is a direct developer statement confirming that development on The House Always Wins is continuing independently. Several features from the May 24, 2026 roadmap remain undelivered — including a Real Estate system and cars — and the developer has not signaled that the roadmap is complete or that content development is wrapping up. With a dedicated team confirmed, active roadmap items outstanding, and regular major updates already established, further content is clearly on the way.
