Max Gentlemen Sexy Business! launched on February 25, 2020. Over the following two years, the developer — a solo developer working under The Men Who Wear Many Hats — delivered substantial post-launch support. The biggest addition was "The British are COMING!" free expansion, released on October 12, 2021, which added two new datable characters, a new story arc, new buildings, hundreds of outfits and character creator parts, and many other features. This was followed by the XXXmas Update on December 22, 2021, which added holiday costumes and Angel Fullbody's final date, and a further costume update on February 14, 2022.
On February 14, 2022, the developer published a post explicitly describing that update as "the last planned update." They stated that Sexy Business was no longer their first priority and that it was time to move on to a new project. While they left a small door open ("I still have a few ideas… but I have no idea when and if I will get to them"), the developer made clear they were stepping away from active development. No further updates, announcements, or developer communications have appeared since that date.
Both DLC items — the Uncensored patch and the Soundtrack — were released on launch day. No unreleased DLC exists. The game shipped as a complete product and received generous free post-launch content before the developer formally concluded their work on it in February 2022.
