After over six years, the developer released version 2.0 on November 3, 2022 — a substantial free update for existing owners that added new ships, balance adjustments, additional lore via an Archives feature, Linux/Steam Deck support, and significant stage changes. A follow-up hotfix (2.0.1) on November 10, 2022 addressed several bugs reported by players after the 2.0 launch. In their announcement leading up to 2.0, the developer described it as the "definitive (at least latest)" edition of the game, framing it as the culmination of years of post-launch work. No further content updates, roadmaps, or DLC announcements have been made since November 2022. The only DLC — the game's original soundtrack — released the day after launch in June 2016 and has no unreleased counterpart. With the 2.0 update representing the developer's self-described definitive release and no content commitments or communications following the November 10, 2022 hotfix, the game appears to be a complete, finished product.

Description

Set in a mechanized world, the story begins with a world-renowned young scientist named Veloce. One day she invented "Mecha" and eradicated humankind with her creation, recreating a metallic world filled with Mechas. Pilot humanity's last hope, a Mecha imbued with human will, through the onslaught of enemy waves. Yet as the tides of battles turn and the world reveals itself, perhaps there's more than what meets the eye.
